MARIA DAVIS-PIERRE, LMHC

Maria Davis-Pierre, is the CEO and Founder of Autism in Black who is one of the biggest autism awareness advocates in the community. 

With a keen ability to educate and guide communities in desperate need of resources and support, Maria has transformed the lives of countless Black families parenting autistic children.  

As the parent of two autistic children, and being autistic herself, Maria understands firsthand the isolation, shame and stigma that often accompanies an autism diagnosis. Armed with that knowledge, she uses her professional expertise to connect with and empower Black parents of autistic children. Through Autism in Black, she also provides essential training to organizations so they can more effectively serve the Black disability community.  

MEET YOUR CO-HOST AND PRESENTER 
DR. BERRY PIERRE

Dr. Berry Pierre, typically goes by “Dr. Berry” is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician and CEO of Pierre Medical Consulting. Has a blogger, podcast host of the Lunch and Learn with Dr. Berry, and vlogger on DrBerryPierreTV he leverages his professional knowledge and clinical expertise to improve the wellness and quality of the people in his Lunch and Learn Community who want to live healthier and longer life.

He would say his most important role is serving as the husband of Maria Davis-Pierre and the father of their three beautiful children. He has been a solid force within the Autism in Black Community.
